Michigan Inventors Assemble!

Great news! Smaller, well-established, regional inventor groups are organizing to form a larger more cohesive state-wide garage and basement inventor network.

Last week several inventor groups came from across the state of Michigan and gathered at the MSU Center for Community and Economic Development. They discussed forming a state-wide inventor network and by the end of the night, they unanimously voted to go forward with the effort. This will be a collective group that would have a primary mission to help each of the local independent inventor groups, independent inventors, and economic development organizations. The name of this state-wide inventor network is yet to be determined, so stay tuned! They plan to meet again in December, 2012 to discuss the tasks at hand to make this state-wide group viable, active, and effective in helping Michigan's economy.
