Student-Led, Faculty-Guided Projects

The Student-Led, Faculty-Guided Project Application for Summer 2014 is now available! Want to do something fun and constructive this summer? Do you have a great idea to aid in advancing Michigan’s economy? This is your chance to spring into action. REI will select and support 2-10 student-led, faculty guided economic development projects this spring.

Fall 2014's student-led, faculty-guided projects are underway! Urban and Regional Planning students at MSU are excited to begin working on the following projects:

The 2014 Innovate Michigan! Summit will be held on Thursday, September 4, 2014 at the Kellogg Hotel & Conference Center in East Lansing. It will be a full day event, where atendees will participate in co-learning plan sessions to learn about various new innovative economic development tools, models, policies, programs and practices. Come hear about the latest REI student-led, faculty-guided economic development projects. Meet Michigan garage-basement inventors and hear about their latest inventions, see their products and find out how the discovery to market process works in Michigan.
