Co-Learning Plans

It's not too late! The 2015-2016 Co-Learning Plan call for authors is still open!

Co-Learning Plans will be based on many of the ideas provided by you, the REI Network, both throughout the year and during the 2015 Innovate Michigan! Summit. Applications will be due on December 7, 2015.

Co-Learning Plan topics include:

  • Social Impact Bonds as a Means to Capitalize Economic Development for Distressed Communities
  • "Inclusive Growth" in Michigan
  • Public Education Strategies on the Importance of Buying Local
  • Impact Assessment of "Big Box Stores" and Tax Abatement in Michigan
  • and more!

 Apply Now

This Co-Learning Plan will focus on developing a framework for a comprehensive entrepreneurial training and support program that will provide relevant and applicable skills to ex-offenders, thereby enabling them to become a positive economic force for their local communities. Not only does such a program have direct benefits to the communities where ex-offender entrepreneurs are living and working, but the state of Michigan benefits through reduced recidivism resulting from stable employment and reduced costs of re-incarceration.
