Managing Director for the Center for Ethical and Socially Responsible Leadership at the Broad College of Business at Michigan State University
Beth Hammond is the Managing Director for the Center for Ethical and Socially Responsible Leadership at the Broad College of Business at Michigan State University. The Center has engaged over 25% of the student body, supported faculty through teaching and research grants, and has elevated the understanding of how ethics impacts all facets of business and industry. Prior to that she served as the Director of Civic Engagement and Volunteerism. While there she impacted campus by opening a Campus Food Pantry, started the Social Justice Series, and supported 15,000 hours of service-learning experiences. Before working at EIU, she founded and directed a Girls on the Run chapter, a national non-profit program that offers programming for third through eighth grade girls that impacts their social, emotional, and physical skills. Prior to that she worked in Human Resources as a Recruiter and a Generalist in the healthcare industry. Beth has an MBA with an HR Concentration.
