Rather than demolishing another irreparable house in Detroit, a motivated group has been actively working to deconstruct and reuse the foundation to builda semi subterranean passive geothermal greenhouse. This greenhouse will be able to dramatically extend the growing season and expand crop possibilities without using additional energy and help supply Detroit with fresh, local, affordable produce.
