Keith Morgan, MBA, IOM, is an executive leader, consultant, and economic development professional with more than 20 years of experience leading organizations, building strategic partnerships, and advancing community and economic development initiatives. He currently serves as Interim Executive Director of Steepletown, a Grand Rapids based nonprofit focused on workforce development, entrepreneurship, and community empowerment.
Throughout his career, Keith has led initiatives supporting small business growth, workforce development, entrepreneurship, and regional economic vitality. He previously served as Vice President and Chief Program Officer for the Urban League of West Michigan, where he oversaw programs in workforce development, housing, health, education, entrepreneurship, and violence prevention. Prior to that, he served as President and CEO of the South Kent Chamber of Commerce, leading business engagement and economic development efforts across the region.
Keith is the founder of RKM Enterprises LLC, where he provides consulting, training, and strategic advisory services to businesses, nonprofits, and community organizations. His expertise includes strategic planning, stakeholder engagement, organizational leadership, entrepreneurial ecosystem development, and collaborative community impact strategies.
A recognized leader in Michigan, Keith serves on numerous boards and advisory committees and was named a Notable Black Leader by Crain's Grand Rapids Business. He holds a Master of Business Administration from Indiana Wesleyan University, a Bachelor of Arts from Wabash College, and the Institute for Organization Management (IOM) designation from the U.S. Chamber of Commerce.
