The 9th annual Innovate Michigan! Summit and Michigan Inventors Convention (MIC) was held online on Thursday, September 3rd, and Friday, September 4th via Zoom. Each year, the MSU-EDA University Center for Regional Economic Innovation (REI) organizes the Innovate Michigan! Summit, a conference that brings together economic experts and enthusiasts alike to share, learn, and create unique and innovative approaches to economic development and revitalization in the State of Michigan.
This year’s Innovate Michigan! Summit featured presentations on innovative economic development tools, models, programs, and policies from around the state. REI's 2020 Project series quickly adapted their projects to meet the needs of communities across the state in light of the COVID-19 pandemic.
