MSU’s EDA University Center for Regional Economic Innovation is happy to award Co-Learning Plan author, Ashley Bellant, who will focus this project year on simulating implementation of local regional tax base sharing. Ashley hopes this will aid residents, advocates, and policymakers within mid-Michigan to make more informed decisions. Additionally, Bellant will include talking points for proponents of regional tax base sharing and a roadmap detailing the policy and legal steps needed to adopt and implement this plan.
