The U.S. Economic Development Administration announced a $30 million cooperative agreement with the International Economic Development Council (IEDC) and its partners to create an Economic Recovery Corps (ERC) program. The ERC program is designed to recruit and place at least 65 Fellows in economic development organizations in underserved communities throughout the nation. This program will be run by a coalition of organizations that "will develop and grow a strong network among the Fellows, producing real-time insights and benefit to extend across the larger economic development landscape."
