The 2014 Innovate Michigan! Summit is only weeks away and registration is open! Some of the presentations at the Summit include Improving Tax Increment Financing (TIF) Transparency and Accountability: A Consolidated TIF Database for Michigan, Community Based Investing: Crowdfunding and the Michigan Invests Locally Exemption, and Promotion of Cooperative Enterprises in Distressed Urban and Rural Communities, among many others! MSU Provost and Executive Vice President for Academic Affairs, Dr. June Pierce Youatt, alongside CCED's Director, Dr. Rex LaMore, will offer opening remarks.

Dr. Ayleen Robainas Barcia will deliver the keynote on Revitalizing a Historic Downtown: A Cuban Tale, a discussion on the historic private enterprise zone being piloted in Old Havana and how it is helping to rebuild, revitalize and preserve the Old Centre of Havana.
