Creating Jobs and Wealth in Distressed Michigan Communities
Student-Led, Faculty-Guided Project - 2015
Authors: Steven Mankouche, University of Michigan
This was the third and final investment into the Afterhouse project. The Afterhouse premise was to convert a derelict house in a community in Detroit north of Hamtramck into a greenhouse. This particular phase was the completion of the construction of the greenhouse, and this parcel serves as a prototype for future projects with similar intentions.
